He dedicated approximately twenty years to competitive tennis, participating in numerous tournaments organized by the Federação Portuguesa de Ténis (FPT). He holds a degree in Computer Science from the Faculdade de Ciências of Universidade do Porto.
An early interest in photography, inherited from his father, developed further. His passion for rallies motivated a more serious pursuit of photography, driven by an enduring enthusiasm for motorsport. His initial foray into photography was facilitated by a Panasonic Lumix FZ50, a gift from his brother, which provided a basis for learning and comprehending photographic techniques. His substantive exploration of photography, however, commenced with a Canon Coolpix 4300.
In 2008, an opportunity arose to serve as the official photographer for the Verão Caixa Fã 08 event, capturing summer activities. This initial experience led to a sustained collaboration with the event organizer, where he contributed to a range of sporting events, including cycling, judo, beach soccer, rugby, beach rugby, beach handball, and beach volleyball. Subsequently, he has engaged in numerous workshops and competitions, achieving recognition with awards and international exhibitions of his work.
Currently, he operates as a freelance photographer across a variety of photographic disciplines.
